One Tree Hill is one of those great shows you can catch on TV late at night, and you expect it to be on when nothing else is. It is packed full of humor that almost anyone can relate to, and includes problems that real people can actually understand. Rather than watching some crazy soap opera with twisted story lines, One Tree Hill brings out the humor in everyday live even just by sitting in a coffee shop and chatting with friends.
I am a huge fan of the show One Tree Hill, I think the entire cast is really awesome and I think that a lot of people can relate to the “real-life” dramatic instances that happen in the show. It did not take me long to really get into the show and I have been hooked ever since. I think the show has at least one character in which someone can relate to. For example there are many people who can relate to Peyton when she decided that getting married young was not something she wanted to do.
One Tree Hill is a show about kids during their high school years and what they have to deal with at home, at school and throughout their social lives in the small town of Tree Hill, North Carolina. The kids go through many family issues and heartbreaks. Although, the show is mostly about what the kids go through and the challenges of being teenagers and growing up, the adults also have a lot of growing up to do and much to deal with along with challenges of their own. Now the show is about what is happening now that the kids are adults and dealing with real life adult issues.
The main characters are Lucas and Nathan Scott. Nathan is your every day jock, he’s handsome, and he comes from a wealthy family with a very successful father. James Lafferty plays Nathan. Then there is Lucas who is obviously Nathan’s brother. Lucas was raised by his mother alone after his father had to choose between the two women he got pregnant. Nathan and Lucas did not have a great relationship at first but later on they became quite close. Lucas is played by Chad Michael Murray.
Haley James Scott is Nathan’s wife and mother of their young son James Lucas “Jamie” Scott. Haley is also a teacher at Tree Hill High. Haley is played by Bethany Joy Galeotti and Jamie is played by Jackson Brundage. Antwon “Skills” Taylor has been a friend of Lucas’ since River Court. He is the assistant head couch at Tree Hill High and plays a big role in Jamie’s life as part of “the gang”. Marvin “Mouth” McFadden is also one of Lucas’ oldest friends and also came from River Court. He is a sports commentator and is some what unlucky in love but things are beginning to heat up between him and his boss Alice.
Peyton Sawyer is a musician and has her own recording studio. Peyton is in love with Lucas and he is in love with her, although, when he proposed she turned him down. Peyton did not think that getting married so young would be the best idea. Brooke Davis was captain of the cheerleading quad in high school and now has a very successful clothing line called Clothes Over Bros. When her and Peyton returned to Tree Hill from LA, Brooke opened the old diner (Karen’s Cafe) as a new Clothes Over Bros store.
